The Electric Vehicle Home Charging Scheme runs in conjunction with the OLEV grant, in order to make owning and charging an electric car more affordable. Through the grant, the government offer up to £500 towards the install of your domestic charge point.
In order to qualify for the EVHS, you must meet the following criteria:

Off-street parking (e.g. a driveway or a garage)

Your charger must be installed by an OLEV approved installer (Sunlight Future is an OLEV approved installer)

Your plug-in vehicle was purchased after 1st October 2016

The chosen date of installation must not be more than 4 months ahead of delivery date or when you become the registered user of the electric vehicle

Your charger must use smart technology (e.g. EO Mini Pro or the myenergi HUB)
